Eternal Potion Eau De Parfum 100ml

This cologne smells absolutely amazing (in fact, I literally JUST got a compliment on it!) — it’s a unisex scent but it leans more masculine (my girlfriend has worn it too though and she also really liked it), I wear it by itself normally but I’ve also combined it with other scents and it works great both ways. It also lasts all day and I’ll smell different notes of the cologne as the day progresses, which i really like. If you like Y by YSL, I think you’ll like this scent (it’s not a dupe by any means, just a similar “vibe” — I love Y but I actually think I might like this one more and it’s WAY more reasonably priced!) It smells fruity, woody, a little spicy, and very good, plus it mixes great with my body chemistry and my shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion/etc. The bottle is also really elegant and cool, it’s a beautiful addition to any fragrance collection and it came nicely packaged in a classy, dark purple box (the box and bottle design go perfectly with the name Eternal Potion, it’s dark and mysterious). I think this cologne would make a great gift for a cologne lover too. I highly recommend.

Unique Scent That Stands Out Without Being Overpowering - Beautiful Scent

The Good:

This has a nice balance—fruity with a bit of warmth from the woody notes. It’s not overwhelming, but it lingers enough to be noticeable.

The Ok:

Scent preference is always personal, so it may wear differently on different people. It’s a great scent that’s not overpowering or too strong.

Might Be an Issue for Some:

If you prefer very light or very strong perfumes, this sits somewhere in the middle which makes this the perfect choice

This product is branded as a “unisex scent” but as much as I love the scent, I believe it really leans more towards a man’s fragrance. It comes in a beautiful dark glass bottle (that is masculine looking), is an ample 100ml size and makes a nice presentation as a gift or is beautiful on one’s countertop. I chose the Eternal Potion because it was labeled as a warm and fruity scent (among others) that sounded more feminine. However, the woodsy smell is more dominant and the fruity scents were masked and practically indistinguishable, making it a better choice as a man’s fragrance. As for the product itself, it is a clear value and the fragrance is aromatic and long lasting. It is concentrated so a little goes a long way. I observed that the scent “bloomed” over time and grew even more pronounced. To try it out, I applied this fragrance on my skin on two separate occasions: 1. After my evening bath, I applied this fragrance and I could smell it the next morning. 2. On another occasion, I applied it at 8 AM and I could still smell it - without reapplying - at 6 PM. So yes, it has staying power. I can only speak for myself but I think it is more advantageous for the company to market this product as Unisex to widen its appeal. On the other hand, it is possible that my personal body chemistry simply does not match well with this fragrance and it could indeed be “unisex” but on other people. It smells good and expensive but I do not want to smell like a man! For that reason, I cannot give this product 5 stars.

I debated for a while on which one to order, especially since it’s described as unisex, but I’m so happy I went with Eternal Potion. The scent is fantastic - clean, crisp & smooth, and very wearable without being overpowering. I really love it.

The presentation is excellent as well. The bottle looks very cool and high-end, making it feel much more expensive than it is. It would even make a great gift.

What I like most is how versatile this scent is. It works perfectly for the office, casual everyday wear, or even more formal events. Overall, it’s a great value for the quality you’re getting, and I would absolutely order it again.
