Carnal Essence Eau De Parfum 100ml

I've now tried two fragrances from Sapil's lineup, and the Carnal Essence in Woody Chypre has become my clear favorite of the two — and that's saying something, because the Fiery Passion is also a solid fragrance.

Where Fiery Passion leans warm and spicy, Carnal Essence goes in a completely different direction — fresh, clean, and effortlessly wearable. On my skin it opens with that characteristic chypre brightness, with the juniper adding a crisp, almost green quality that feels genuinely refreshing. As it settles, the jasmine and tonka bean weave in smoothly, giving the heart a soft, balanced character that never goes overly floral or heavy. It's the kind of scent that feels polished without trying too hard.

Longevity is excellent — I'm consistently getting 6-8 hours of wear, which is exactly what you want from an EDP. It stays present throughout the day without becoming overwhelming as the hours pass.

The unisex positioning works very naturally here. This is a fragrance that genuinely transcends gender — the freshness and balance make it equally at home on anyone. It's versatile enough for daily wear but refined enough to stand out.

The emerald green bottle and premium packaging match the sophistication of the scent perfectly. Like the rest of the Sapil line, the presentation punches well above the price point.

Bottom line: If you're exploring Sapil's lineup and can only choose one, Carnal Essence in Woody Chypre is where I'd start. Fresh, clean, long-lasting, and beautifully balanced — this one has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

OK, a couple things first ordering a fragrance online that you’ve never smelled before, from a company you’ve never heard of before can be a little bit intimidating. Furthermore, if that fragrance is unisex, that can also be intimidating so I was hesitant with this particular fragrance by Sapil. Boy am I glad I ordered it! I love it!!!

Let’s start with the packaging, it is beautiful, great quality and feels very high-end. ! The bottle is gorgeous on my vanity. The bottle is a beautiful, vibrant, emerald green and the details on the bottle are a bright shiny silver chrome. With the packaging in the bottle alone it looks very high-end.

Let’s talk what perfume is about the fragrance. This scent is so subtle and so balanced.. It smells amazing. At the very first spreads, it goes on just a wee bit stronger, but not in a bad way. It is a very brief time and everything is very soft and smooth and subtle. Like you’ve been wearing the fragrance for hours. There are floral and woody notes and Tonka bean fragrance. All of these blend together, and blended with subtle hints of amber. The scent has staying power. I sprayed my skin at the beginning of the day and still by the end of the day I could smell a delicate subtle fragrance. This scent lasts. It is not a sweet scent nor is it that Tangy bitter scent that you get many times in a unisex fragrance. Nor is it a fragrance that is heavy or spiced that you may wear out for an evening event or in the colder months when a fragrance is more spicy and heavy. This is a fragrance that you could truly wear every day.

Let’s talk about cost. A good quality fragrance is not an inexpensive endeavor. As a matter of fact, more times than not, I’ll see the cost and that will steer me away from making a purchase. But this? It’s super reasonably priced for the amount of fragrance you receive. And because it is packaged so well, and the bottle is so high-end the price that this is outstanding. As a matter of fact, I am looking at one of their other fragrances to purchase for myself because I’m so satisfied with this one. I would normally never do that fragrance, because of the cost these days, is a luxury, but this price point makes it reasonable, and doable and something you can treat yourself to or buy as a gift.

It is a great scent for any time or occasion. It would be a great gift for men and women alike. As a matter of fact, I let my husband and son know that I have this bottle of eau de perfume and it is unisex and they should feel free to use it as well. I think it would smell great on my husband.

I am overwhelmingly impressed with this purchase. I’m so glad that I took a chance because this is definitely a five star product.

I absolutely love this fragrance. There is something old and familiar to this perfume. Initially I thought it had a citrus top note until I looked it up and saw it was juniper, which makes perfect sense. Upon smelling it more I got that juniper/woody-almost-fir smell and it made me think of something you’d smell in a barbershop.

This has a nice powdery fresh dry down from the floral and woods and is just nice for either morning or night. I wish this was also an aftershave as I really like the fresh feel I have when wearing this. The scent even lingers on my clothes for hours.

This is not my first Sapir fragrance and I find them to have very good performance with decent longevity and projection, especially for the value.

The bottle is also nice too and that green color gives you an idea of what this will smell like.

I thought I would give this scent a try as a new year starts for me. The box for the bottle was very sturdy and nice. And the bottle itself looked alright. The sprayer mechanism worked well and sprayed a consistent and well-portioned spray. In terms of the scent, it was as described, and a nice woody and slightly floral scent. For me, sometimes floral scents are a little overpowering and make me a little "dizzy", however, this did not cause that effect. I would say the scent lasted a good half-day, but started to disappear in the second half of the day. As a parfum rather than a toilette, I would hope it would last closer to 8 hours. Overall, I enjoyed the scent and would hope for increased longevity of the scent

The package is beautiful and feels high quality. The bottle looks pretty on a dresser. The pump dispenses a nice small amount which is perfect. The scent is very balanced and smooth. It smells amazing. There are floral and woody notes very artfully blended with subtle hints of herb and amber notes. The scent evolves as it dries down and leaves an elegant, subtle scent that lasts. It is not too sweet and not cloying, which makes it perfect. It is a great scent for any time or occasion. It would be a great gift for anyone who loves perfume.
