Ma Cherie Cherry Eau De Parfum 100ml

I have never smelled cherry blossoms. When I smelled this, I imagined that's what cherry blossoms smell like. It's a bit like cherries and a bit like flowers. It is very refreshing and very appealing. The fragrance only lasts about three hours or so but that's fine.

Ma Cherie has quickly become one of my favorite perfumes. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first tried it but it sprays out with a lovely cherry scent then goes through a variety of fragrances ending with a soft vanilla type note. The cherry scent is lovely not cheap smelling and the fragrance lasts a long time. I always give my clothes a light spritz of any perfume that I wear. Even without that the perfume lasts a long time. One girl told me it me reminded her of the beach.

It came beautifully packaged and invites and calls to you with the gorgeous colors of cherry and blue and feels like it wouldn’t immediately (I’ve done that.) Something interesting that Sapil does with some of their lids is that they are pp pla magnetic. When the lid goes in the right direction it pops into place with the strong, heavy magnet. No more losing the lid or perfume bottle.

Sapil Ma Cherie has definitely found a place of honor in my collection of fragrances. $45 is an excellent price for this long lasting scent. Even late in the day the fragrance still lingers. I love it and it would also make a great gift.

Finding a cherry scent that doesn't smell like a medicinal throat lozenge or cough medicine can be a challenge, but this is a lovely and realistic take on the fruit! The mix of tart cherry and pitahaya make for a juicy opening which gives it a bright, uplifting feel right away. It isn't syrupy or heavy at all, more like fresh fruit that stays light and playful on my skin for the first few hours.

Once that initial fruitiness settles, the floral heart of frangipani and red peony is more noticeable. These florals add a soft, tropical vibe that reminds me of a warm afternoon, and they do a great job of balancing out the sweetness with some gentle warmth. The base of vanilla and patchouli gives it a nice, grounded finish. The patchouli isn't too "dirty" or overwhelming, it just adds a bit of earthy depth that keeps the vanilla from being one dimensional, though there is also a potpourri quality that becomes noticeable too. It's not unpleasant, but it is unique.

The longevity is decent for a fruity floral, and I can still catch those cozy vanilla notes on my clothes well into the afternoon. It stays fairly close to the skin after the first hour, so it’s a great choice if you want something sweet and cheerful that won't overwhelm people in a small room. It’s a really well rounded gourmand that feels fun and easy to wear for just about any casual occasion as we head into warmer weather.

First off, this perfume comes in a beautiful heavy bottle. The lid is magnetic and holds solid, but still easy to get off. The pump works well with a fine mist. I found that the fragrance didn't really have much of a cherry or vanilla scent. It had more of a heavy alcohol scent to me. The fragrance seemed to last the whole day, with even a tiny spritz.
